PNMTA for 2007 - More fun!

PNMTA and Alta Alpina Cycling Club will be meeting at the Tree off of Pine Nut rd in Gardnerville at 10AM to put in some railroad ties and improve the parking area there. Come out and give us a hand! We'll be barbecuing and having a ride if we get enough people to finish the job quickly.

The Pine Nut Planning Area Management Plan

is coming to a trail near you!!

The new use plan for the Pine Nuts is coming soon. This is huge news and we need to be prepared to deal with the situation when the plan comes out, so please come to the next meeting. Get educated now so you are prepared for the future!

We are being told that there will be seasonal closures throughout the Pine Nut mountains (Douglas, Lyon and Carson Counties) with the plan about to come out for public comment. We have to make a difference so sign up for notifications at this website or email us at pinenuts@charter.net or better yet come to the meeting.
