Pine Nut Mountains Trail Association Flyer

    PNMTA Flyer

The new flyer is designed to be printed either double or single sided. When printed double sided use a tri-fold. WHen printed single sided use a Z-fold. Be a volunteer and spread the word. Print our brochure. Make a pile of copies. Fold them and leave them at local businesses.

To print double sided pint "n" copies of the 1st page. Then print another "n" copies of the 2nd page on the back side of the first page. With most printers this will be easy. Take the stack of 1st pages as they come off the printer and insert them back in the paper tray. In this way the right edge of the 1st page will be pulled, which is the left edge of the back side. This will print the PNMTA logo in the right most column, on the backside of the left hand column on the front page.

You may need to adjust your printer settings for the brochure to correctly fit the printed page when it is folded. After printing there should be approximately 35/8" between the lines seperating the columns. There should also be 35/8" between these lines and either edge of the paper:

If these lines do not have this spacing you may need to adjust the Adobe printer settings. In Adobe, when you click on the printer icon a pop-up Print menu is displayed. On the right hand side of this window you will see the Preview window showing how the printed document lines up on the page. If there is more margin on one side than the other, you can make adjustments with the Page Handling settings. There is a setting for Page Scaling that has several options. By default it is set to "Fit to Printer Margins", try changing this setting to "None".

Once printed, the accordian-fold is created by:

  • make the first fold to the right of the first column, using the line seperating the columns as a guide, folding the brochure back under itself so the first column is on top and the the second column is underneath, facing the table.
  • the second fold is to the right of the second column, fold the brochure so the second and third columns face each other, using the column seperator as a guide.
  • the final product will look like:

The tri-fold is created by:

  • make the first fold to the left of the last column, using the line seperating the columns as a guide, folding the last column over the top of the middle column.
  • make the second fold by folding the first column over the top of the of your first fold.
  • when done right the PNMTA logo printed on the back side will be on top.
